The Hong Kong example is excellent. When I was there many years ago I was amazed at the unbridled capitalism. In fact, that is one thing that worries me about China ever becoming a free society. While they have done a good job out producing us already, turning them into another Hong Kong with freedom would bury us. Also, the Hong Kong income tax was based only on income earned in the colony. Income derived outside the colony was not taxed. How about trying that here?
